bdf2psf software package provides font converter to generate console fonts from BDF source fonts, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install bdf2psf
bdf2psf is installed in your system.
Make ensure the bdf2psf package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep bdf2psf *
You will get with bdf2psf package name, version, architecture and description in a table
